It's up to you to decide which type of mounting best suits your needs without having to juggle the layout of other equipment in the rack.
Rack PDU power strip with surge protection.
The SPD version offers an additional layer of protection through the use of a built-in varistor. The protection status is indicated by an LED, giving the user a constant view of the surge protection function. This is a must-have in a server environment, providing an extra level of protection for devices sensitive to any, even the slightest, voltage changes in the electrical grid.
